Fruit trees Observatory

Setting up an observation network for the phenology of fruit tree species.

The lack of fruit tree species phenology observation systems, registered over time, and covering a wide diversity of soil and climate situations, led INRA to set up an observatory network in the context of the PERPHECLIM project funded by the AAFCC metaprogramme.

It was formed to study the response of phenology to climate change based on four fruit tree species studied at the Institute. It is the first IGE (Genotype-environment interaction) network dedicated to the fruit tree species at the INRA and supplements existing vineyard and forest species systems.
